The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Murphy tries to counter by closing the distance.
Murphy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Merman sneaks out the side door and pushes Murphy away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Merman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Murphy has time to react.
Murphy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Merman's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
