Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Mike (ranked 4388 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sken Jone (ranked 4394 p4p, 433 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Mike! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sken Jone! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mike throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jone tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mike is in Jone's guard. Mike trying to control but Jone is working from the bottom. Mike stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jone swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mike sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jone's guard. Mike is taking a breather. Jone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jone wants to control but Mike is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mike wants to pass the guard but Jone is defending well. Jone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mike. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jone holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mike content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Mike trying to control the action but Jone is working from the bottom. Mike with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jone closes the distance and clinches. Jone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mike circles away. Mike throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jone looks for a takedown but Mike sprawls well. Mike avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Mike is pressed up against the cage. Jone has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mike down to the mat. Mike avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Matt Mike has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sken Jone. Jone clinches. Jone tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mike smiles and moves away.
Jone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mike has Jone up against the cage in a clinch.
Jone looks to throw an elbow but misses. Mike is trying to break free. Mike working some nice short punches in the clinch. Mike tries to score a body lock takedown but Jone shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jone blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mike tries to circle away but Jone has him pinned against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mike takes an elbow to the forehead. Jone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mike is defending well for now. Mike blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mike avoids a wild elbow strike from Jone. Mike wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jone has him pressed against the cage. Mike is trying to break the clinch but Jone is controlling him. Jone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mike is defending well for now. Mike is trying to pull guard but Jone has him pressed against the cage. Jone manages to break the clinch.
Jone darts in looking for a takedown but Mike gets double underhooks and turns Jone into the cage. Jone fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mike keeps the fight on the outside. An attempted straight right counter from Mike misses the target. Jone wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jone shoots in but no luck this time. It looked like Mike was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jone. Mike fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jone wants to clinch. Mike throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Jone fails with the takedown. Mike circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jone rushes Mike and presses him up against the cage. Jone creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jone looks winded! Mike blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mike controlling the action here for a moment.
A frustrated look appears on Mike's face as he tries to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Mike dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Mike closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jone quickly recovers to half guard. Jone makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sken Jone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mike misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jone clinches. Mike looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mike just stands there and leans against the cage. Mike lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Sken Jone seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Mike jumps guard but Jone stands there with Mike around his waist. Mike gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mike manages to break the clinch.
Mike thuds his right hand into Jone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mike stuffs the takedown. Jone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jone lands an elbow inside. Mike successfully pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mike trying to keep a closed guard but Jone is proving a slippery customer.
Jone won't allow Mike to get back to his feet. Mike seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Mike looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jone is one step ahead there. Mike is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jone wants to stand but Mike has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mike is adopting a defensive guard. Mike is working an open guard so Jone takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jone has closed the distance and engaged Mike in a clinch.
Mike pulls guard. Mike pulls Jone in close to his closed guard and prevents Jone from doing any damage or advancing position. Jone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jone trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mike's guard. Mike is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mike really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mike pulls Jone in close to prevent any damage. Jone engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jone gets to his feet. Mike looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sken Jone will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Jone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mike. Mike stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mike wants it to stay on the feet. Mike stuffs the takedown attempt from Jone. Jone gets slowly back to his feet. Jone scores with a jab to the body. Jone has Mike up against the cage in a clinch.
Mike letting Jone take a breather here. Jone trying to stall but Mike improves his position.

Jone advances position into side control! Mike tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Jone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mike keeps working. Mike has one of Jone's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mike sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Mike tries to roll over but Jone keeps him under control. Mike throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Mike is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mike is trying to control but can't.
Mike looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mike darts in and clinches Jone up against the cage. Jone lands an elbow that stopped Mike in his tracks for a moment. Mike tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jone just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Mike. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mike avoids a wild elbow strike from Jone. Mike is trying to break free. Jone jumps into guard, dragging Mike to the mat.
Jone can't keep his opponent in guard - Mike advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mike misses with a head shot. Jone uses the momentum to regain guard. Mike trying to control but Jone is working from the bottom. Mike wants to pass the guard but Jone is keeping the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mike is working hard here to advance position.
And that's the end of the fight! Sken Jone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
