Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Objedkov (ranked 543 p4p, 28 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 2308 p4p, 123 weight class). Sergey Objedkov has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Objedkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ono Kuronoa!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Objedkov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kuronoa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A right-left combo lands from Kuronoa.
A slow jab from Objedkov misses its intended target.
Some wild striking there from Objedkov.
Objedkov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Objedkov feinted with a counter takedown.
A lazy left from Kuronoa finds it's target.

Kuronoa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Objedkov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Objedkov wants to control but Kuronoa is keeping him busy.

Kuronoa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Objedkov is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Objedkov wants to control but Kuronoa is keeping him busy.
Objedkov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kuronoa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Objedkov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Objedkov lands a nice short elbow.
Kuronoa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Objedkov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kuronoa is still in real trouble! Can Objedkov finish him?
Objedkov lands a big elbow - Kuronoa is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Objedkov!
