Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohan Carano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yohan Carano! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carano's guard. Harris lands a couple of elbows. Harris throwing strikes from guard but Carano blocks nicely. Carano is pulling down on Harris's head. It's preventing any offense from Harris, at least for the moment. Harris wants to control from the top but Carano keeps moving. Harris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Carano is adopting a defensive guard. Harris passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carano is not content to let Harris control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris landing strikes. Carano is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Harris blocks the strikes from Carano.
Carano tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control. Carano desperately trying to maintain half guard. Harris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carano's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carano is trying to control but Harris manages to pass to mount!
Harris trying to control but he's not successful this time. Carano tries to improve his position but Harris has taken his back! Harris has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Carano tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Harris pushes Carano away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
