Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vrej Nazaryan (ranked 1830 p4p, 220 weight class) and Sampson Shain (ranked 1757 p4p, 210 weight class). Nazaryan comes into the arena with DVBBS & Borgeous - Tsunami blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shain takes a swing at Nazaryan's ribcage but misses.
Shain throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Shain throws out a leg kick but Nazaryan moves out of range and Shain only half commits.
Nazaryan tries to land a front kick but Shain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shain lands a right hook to the body.

Shain on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Shain takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nazaryan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shain has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shain and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Shain was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
