PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Archie Trew (ranked 1617 p4p, 74 weight class) and Gomu Gomu (ranked 1452 p4p, 17 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Trew might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fuck You - Lily Allen. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trew misses with an uppercut. Gomu saw that one coming.
Gomu throws a hook to the side of Trew's head but Trew sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Trew closes the distance and clinches.
Gomu works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Trew just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gomu's brow.
Gomu lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

It looks like Archie Trew has been cut.

Gomu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like Gomu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Trew gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trew looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gomu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Trew takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Jeez, Archie Trew's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
