Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renato Da Silva (ranked 4021 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Lima (ranked 4896 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Renato Da Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Renato Da Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Da Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Da Silva throws a hook but Lima avoids it easily.
Lima shoots for a takedown but Da Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Da Silva throwing a counter right hand but Lima manages to avoid it.
Da Silva cracks a nice hook into Lima's ribs.
Da Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lima slips under a jab from Da Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lima tries for a takedown but Da Silva circles away easily
and Da Silva counters with a straight right hand.
Renato Da Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Lima.

Da Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Lima, before circling back to the center of the mat.

so Lima counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Da Silva is looking to stand back up but Lima counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Da Silva.
Lima is controlling the pace.
Da Silva is looking to improve his position.

Lima is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Da Silva is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
