The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaffrey darts in looking for a takedown but O Donnelly gets double underhooks and turns McCaffrey into the cage.
O Donnelly works the jab nicely.
O Donnelly clinches up against the cage.
McCaffrey tries for a takedown but O Donnelly manages to get underhooks.
McCaffrey wants to take the fight to the mat but O Donnelly manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stewart McCaffrey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCaffrey drops to a knee looking for a takedown but O Donnelly gets the underhooks and prevents it.
O Donnelly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McCaffrey has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
McCaffrey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
McCaffrey shoots in for a takedown but O Donnelly shows good takedown defense.
O Donnelly throws out a counter right but McCaffrey avoids it with no problem.
McCaffrey fails with a takedown attempt.
O Donnelly lunges at McCaffrey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McCaffrey's hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice uppercut lands for O Donnelly. That snapped McCaffrey's head back.
McCaffrey is rocked!
O Donnelly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McCaffrey.
Oh McCaffrey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Donnelly drops McCaffrey with a big left hand! McCaffrey is injured, injured bad! O Donnelly jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Shay O Donnelly rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
