These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, I Just Fight And Win! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fight And Win gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Atkins to counter with a crisp jab. Atkins shoots in for a takedown but Fight And Win shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Atkins has a takedown stuffed. Fight And Win drives through with a takedown into Atkins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Atkins manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fight And Win closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fight And Win lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fight And Win missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fight And Win chips away with some ground and pound. Fight And Win works over Atkins with some ground and pound from guard. Fight And Win working some strikes from top position. Fight And Win postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fight And Win really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Atkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fight And Win working some strikes from top position. Atkins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fight And Win lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Atkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fight And Win's guard. Fight And Win avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fight And Win wants to get back to his feet but Atkins is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Atkins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Atkins throwing strikes but missing. Fight And Win preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Atkins looking to pass the guard. Atkins wants to control from the top but Fight And Win keeps moving. Atkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Atkins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fight And Win is not content to let Atkins control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Atkins misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Atkins tries to advance to mount but can't. Atkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fight And Win knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Atkins is trying to ground and pound but Fight And Win uses the momentary lack of control by Atkins to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Atkins trying to control the pace. Fight And Win is staying active underneath Atkins, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but I Just Fight And Win will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fight And Win feints and as Atkins raises his hands in defense, Fight And Win changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Atkins throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Fight And Win with a flurry of punches that miss. Fight And Win throwing strikes from guard but Atkins blocks nicely. Fight And Win working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Atkins working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fight And Win. Atkins trying to keep a closed guard but Fight And Win is proving a slippery customer.
Atkins is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atkins is trying to control the position but Fight And Win postures up. Fight And Win working some strikes from top position. Fight And Win lands a couple of digs. Fight And Win with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
It looks like Damien Atkins has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fight And Win chips away with some ground and pound. Fight And Win throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Atkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Atkins has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Fight And Win is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Atkins throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fight And Win is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Fight And Win goes for a takedown attempt but Atkins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Atkins darts in looking for a takedown but Fight And Win gets double underhooks and turns Atkins into the cage. Atkins misses with a body kick. Atkins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Atkins gets underhooks to prevent Fight And Win's takedown attempt.
Damien Atkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of I Just Fight And Win. Atkins is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fight And Win to keep the fight standing. Atkins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Atkins throws a combination that misses and Fight And Win counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ground and pound from Fight And Win.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fight And Win is nestled in close to Atkins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Atkins is rocked! Ground and pound from Fight And Win. Oh Atkins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Damien Atkins's cut is getting worse. Fight And Win is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Atkins is hurt! He's hurt bad - Fight And Win fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Atkins from any more punishment! Congratulations to Fight And Win! Great finish!
