Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Chugman (ranked 865 p4p, 48 weight class) and Takayama Yataro (ranked 726 p4p, 39 weight class). Yataro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Misoji Misaki. Takayama Yataro acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Chugman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takayama Yataro!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yataro dips to his left and cracks Chugman with an uppercut!
Yataro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chugman was well out of range. Poor timing from Yataro.
Yataro throws a jab when Chugman was well out of range.
Chugman closes the distance and clinches up with Yataro, looking for a takedown. Chugman pushes Yataro against the cage but Yataro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chugman swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Yataro blocks a low kick nicely.
Yataro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chugman manages to avoid it.
Chugman ducks under a wild hook from Yataro.

Chugman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yataro on his heels. He'll look to pass Yataro's guard now, I'm sure.

Chugman swings for the body but Yataro moves out of range.

Chugman rushes Yataro and presses him up against the cage.
Yataro tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chugman wants to take the fight to the mat but Yataro manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Chugman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chugman doesn't manage to clinch there - Yataro circles away.
Yataro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chugman's head backwards.

Chugman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yataro to the ground. Chugman is now in Yataro's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yataro wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Chugman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
