Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uzun Ada Izmir (ranked 133 p4p, 20 weight class) and Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 577 p4p, 79 weight class). Kagonbo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Voodoo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uzun Ada Izmir! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bismack Kagonbo! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ada Izmir moves out of range as Kagonbo strikes. Kagonbo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ada Izmir. Ada Izmir takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kagonbo cracks Ada Izmir with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ada Izmir tries to clinch but Kagonbo moves out of range. Kagonbo loads up on a big right hand but Ada Izmir slips the punch. Ada Izmir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kagonbo tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Kagonbo defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Kagonbo is trying to get back to his feet but Ada Izmir has full control of the position and if anything, Kagonbo has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kagonbo covering up well and avoiding damage. Ada Izmir missing with strikes from the back. Ada Izmir is persistently looking for the submission but Kagonbo is defending it well.
Ada Izmir has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ada Izmir punches the canvas rather than the man. Ada Izmir connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Kagonbo to escape the position.
Kagonbo defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Ada Izmir looking for subs off his back but Kagonbo has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ada Izmir looking for submissions off his back. Ada Izmir tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kagonbo has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Ada Izmir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ada Izmir is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kagonbo controlling the pace for now. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ada Izmir is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kagonbo avoids the attempt from Ada Izmir to control. Ada Izmir is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bismack Kagonbo dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kagonbo misses with a lunging right hand
and Ada Izmir cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ada Izmir lands with a hook. Kagonbo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ada Izmir lands a nice shot to the body.
Kagonbo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kagonbo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fighters circling - Kagonbo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ada Izmir throwing a counter right hand but Kagonbo manages to avoid it. Kagonbo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ada Izmir sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kagonbo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kagonbo lands with a cross. A swing and a miss from Kagonbo. Ada Izmir keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Bismack Kagonbo has been cut. Kagonbo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ada Izmir. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kagonbo misses with a hook. Ada Izmir ducked under it nicely. Kagonbo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kagonbo tried to score with a low kick but Ada Izmir checks it. Kagonbo swats away the attempt to clinch by Ada Izmir. Kagonbo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kagonbo lands a head shot. Kagonbo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ada Izmir. Nice jab there from Ada Izmir. Decent striking displayed by Ada Izmir there. Kagonbo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bismack Kagonbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kagonbo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ada Izmir sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kagonbo loads up on a big right hand but Ada Izmir slips the punch. Bismack Kagonbo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice uppercut there from Ada Izmir. Ada Izmir lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kagonbo circles away quickly and effectively. A big right from Kagonbo misses. Kagonbo throws a wild body kick that Ada Izmir sees coming a mile off. A little feinted left hand from Ada Izmir on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ada Izmir throws out a powerful jab. Ada Izmir throws a sloppy body shot
letting Kagonbo counter with a right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ada Izmir throws a looping overhand right but Kagonbo ducks down to avoid it. Kagonbo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ada Izmir cracks Kagonbo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kagonbo falls to his knees and Ada Izmir doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uzun Ada Izmir! Uzun Ada Izmir retains his heavyweight title! Our winner, Uzun Ada Izmir, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Bismack Kagonbo spoke after the fight, saying 'Breathes heavily....growls...'.
