The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A head kick misses from Shamrock.
Anthony misses with a double jab.

Anthony instigates a clinch.
Anthony stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Shamrock dodges an elbow strike from Anthony.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Anthony.
Shamrock scores with a knee to the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Anthony takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Anthony creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Anthony drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Shamrock misses with a hook to the ribs.
Shamrock's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Anthony blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Shamrock misses with some punches.
Anthony throws an elbow that misses.
Anthony lands a damaging elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anthony gets through Shamrock's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Anthony pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shamrock misses with a lunging right hand
and Anthony counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Shamrock to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Anthony!
