Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Davidson (ranked 4677 p4p, 391 weight class) and Anol Povetkin (ranked 5782 p4p, 443 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Liam Davidson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anol Povetkin! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Povetkin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Davidson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LA Vale Tudo in the buildup to the fight. Davidson keeps the fight on the outside. Povetkin gets a clinch. Davidson tries to work over Povetkin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Davidson lands a left hand.
Davidson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Povetkin or not. Davidson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Povetkin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Davidson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Povetkin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Davidson struggles to land a body shot inside as Povetkin controls his hands.

Povetkin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Davidson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Povetkin backwards. Davidson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Povetkin tightens his grip and picks Davidson up, before dumping him to the ground. Davidson manages to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Davidson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Povetkin defends it easily. Davidson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Povetkin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Davidson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Povetkin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Povetkin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Davidson is looking for a triangle but Povetkin pushes his legs off easily.
Davidson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Povetkin defends it easily. Povetkin wants to control from the top but Davidson keeps moving. Davidson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Povetkin advances position into side control! Povetkin landing a few strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Povetkin is looking to take a break and control but Davidson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Povetkin creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Povetkin grinds an elbow into Davidson's temple. Davidson tries to improve position but can't. Davidson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Davidson is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Povetkin lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Davidson! Povetkin senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Davidson out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
