Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Earl Ringo (ranked 4397 p4p, 217 weight class) and Reynaldo Soriano (ranked 4963 p4p, 232 weight class). The key to victory for Earl Ringo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earl Ringo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Reynaldo Soriano! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ringo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Soriano fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ringo, pushing him back against the cage. Ringo tries to land a knee to the head but Soriano blocks with his arms.
Soriano can't find room to land a body shot as Ringo controls the action.
Soriano jumps into guard, dragging Ringo to the mat.
Soriano lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Soriano slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Soriano's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've been hearing good reports from Ringo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soriano is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ringo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Soriano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ringo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ringo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Soriano postures up.
Soriano stands up over Ringo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soriano working some strikes from top position. Soriano wants to pass the guard but Ringo is keeping the position. Ringo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Soriano is defending well. Ringo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Soriano has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ringo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
