The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Dempsey pushes him off.
Dempsey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Diaz went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Diaz tries to keep at a distance but Dempsey has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dempsey lands a shoulder strike.
Diaz is looking to break free of the clinch but Dempsey has double underhooks.
