Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ward Gibbs (ranked 23346 p4p, 0 weight class) and Condor McGruger (ranked 3727 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGruger moves into the clinch successfully.

McGruger wants the takedown. Gibbs is fighting it off but McGruger persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gibbs's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGruger postures up and lands a big shot to Gibbs's brow.
Gibbs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGruger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gibbs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGruger on the ground.
McGruger is pushing down on Gibbs's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gibbs is fighting to maintain full guard but McGruger has managed to sneak the leg through.
McGruger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
McGruger working over Gibbs with some ground and pound. Gibbs looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McGruger looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gibbs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McGruger is taking a breather. Gibbs says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gibbs is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGruger scores with a couple of nice shots.

Oh Gibbs is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGruger loads up with a big shot that hurts Gibbs! He's pulled McGruger in close but McGruger has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Gibbs survive? More strikes from McGruger and Gibbs is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
