Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Garaile Lban (ranked 1815 p4p, 217 weight class) and Magomedsaid Omarov (ranked 2349 p4p, 268 weight class). Garaile Lban has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Magomedsaid Omarov!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lban lands with a hook. Omarov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've been told by Lban's head coaches at Star Studded Beef that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Omarov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lban tries to avoid it but Omarov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lban to the ground. Lban escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

letting Lban counter with a right hand.

and Lban counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Omarov thinking.
Garaile Lban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomedsaid Omarov.
Omarov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lban makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Magomedsaid Omarov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Lban counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Lban lands with a nice body punch.
Omarov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lban stuns Omarov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lban slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Lban is leaning against Omarov and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Lban gets through Omarov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Omarov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lban after a bit of a struggle.
Lban lands an uppercut.
Lban breaks the clinch.
Lban throws an overhand right that has Omarov reeling! Lban follows up with more punches and Omarov is out cold! This one is all over!
