Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Beltran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, I Just Wins! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beltran throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Beltran is in Wins's guard. Wins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Beltran preventing the sweep. Wins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Beltran passes into half guard.
Wins looking for a kimura from the bottom but Beltran passes into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beltran decides to stand back up. Wins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beltran as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beltran connects with a right hand. Wins shakes it off. Beltran looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Beltran scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Wins is rocked! Beltran stands and steps away. Wins gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Beltran changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wins is still in real trouble! Can Beltran finish him? Wins looks winded! Beltran cracks Wins with a big elbow. Wins is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Beltran is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Beltran content just to control the position here. Wins is looking to improve his position but Beltran isn't that keen on the idea. Wins seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beltran controlling the pace for now. Wins is working to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beltran controlling from the full mount. Wins tries to reverse the position but Beltran maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wins keeps trying to improve his position. Beltran controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Beltran prevents Wins from getting the reversal. Beltran controlling his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Beltran dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Wins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Beltran is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Beltran gets to his feet. Wins looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Beltran shoots in and gets a takedown into Wins's guard. Wins wants to improve his position but instead Beltran has moved into half guard.
Wins slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beltran is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wins is breathing heavily. Beltran stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wins to get to his feet. Wins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beltran sprawls well. Beltran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wins gets slowly back to his feet. Beltran fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wins, pushing him back against the cage. Wins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beltran avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beltran breaks the clinch.
Beltran darts in and clinches Wins up against the cage. Beltran stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Beltran lands a takedown into guard.
Beltran is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wins has an active guard here but Beltran has managed to pass into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beltran connects with a nice short shot to Wins's temple. Beltran scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wins is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Beltran jumps into side control! Beltran advances to full mount. Beltran controlling from the full mount. Carlos Beltran overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Beltran is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wins can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Beltran has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wins is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Beltran dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Beltran darts in and clinches Wins up against the cage. Beltran has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wins rolls, trying to escape but Beltran keeps control of the position.
Beltran is trying to stick to Wins's back but Wins is turning into Beltran. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Beltran's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wins. Wins has gone for a leg lock! Beltran slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wins's guard. Beltran makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beltran lands a couple of elbows. Beltran gets to his feet - Wins follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beltran gets the takedown into side control. Wins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Beltran decides to stand back up. Beltran steps back and let's Wins get back to his feet. Wins wants to stay close but Beltran steps back to make room for something. Wins seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Beltran and Wins drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Carlos Beltran! Carlos Beltran really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sully's Bar & Grill logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
