Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Hammer (ranked 4321 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Hippobody (ranked 5805 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Hammer misses with a straight right.
Hammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hippobody scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hammer in his tracks.

Hippobody throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hammer on the side of the head.
Hippobody connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hammer momentarily.

Hammer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A quick step to the side and Hammer tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hammer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hippobody sees it coming and avoids it easily.

We've been informed that Hippobody has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Hippobody bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hammer's head.

Hippobody cracks Hammer with an open hand slap.
Hippobody pounces like a tiger and cracks Hammer with a vicious hook! Hammer is down but not out! Hippobody follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
