The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falwell throws a sloppy head kick and Geone moves out of range easily.
Geone blocks a head kick by Falwell.
Geone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Falwell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Falwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Geone tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Falwell defends well and Geone ends up having to push Falwell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Falwell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Falwell wants it to stay on the feet.
Falwell takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Geone counters with a stiff right hand.

Falwell's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Yahweh Falwell was interviewed post fight and said 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I trained more instead praying, I might have avoided getting KO'd. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
