The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allanson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fitzpatrick is fending him off so far but Allanson persists. Nope, Fitzpatrick circles away and we're back to standing.
Allanson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Allanson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Mikey Fitzpatrick has been cut.
Allanson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fitzpatrick.

Allanson clinches up with Fitzpatrick and pushes him back against the cage.

Allanson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fitzpatrick shoots in and drives through. Allanson sprawls well.
Allanson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fitzpatrick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Allanson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fitzpatrick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Allanson as he avoids it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Fitzpatrick. No joy for Allanson on that attempt.
Allanson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Fitzpatrick! Allanson dives in looking to finish! Fitzpatrick is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
