Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe lands a high kick!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Makhacevov is working Wolfe over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makhacevov wants to pass the guard but Wolfe is keeping the position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Makhacevov in particular looking to stall.

Makhacevov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like Makhacevov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Makhacevov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wolfe sprawls well initially but Makhacevov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Makhacevov is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wolfe is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
