The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan tries to clinch up.
Gormsson throws a jab but it's blocked by Ryan.
Ryan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ryan throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ryan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gormsson throws a jab but it's blocked by Ryan.
It looked like Ryan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gormsson throws a body shot but no joy.
Ryan is looking to counter punch.
Gormsson lands a jab to Ryan's midsection.
Ryan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gormsson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gormsson digs a good body shot into Ryan's ribs.
Gormsson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ryan's head backwards.
Gormsson misses with a hook.
Gormsson lands a jab to Ryan's midsection.

Gormsson throws a jab but it's blocked by Ryan.
Gormsson throws a shot to the body.
Gormsson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Jimmy Ryan has been cut.
A big left from Ryan misses.
Gormsson lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Ryan falls backwards - clearly groggy! Gormsson dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
