The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmy looks to score with a jab to the body but Zhi Gang is just out of range.
Zhi Gang lands a two punch combo.
Timmy throws a push kick but Zhi Gang slaps the foot to one side.
Zhi Gang shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zhi Gang was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Timmy explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zhi Gang clinches up with Timmy and pushes him back against the cage.
Zhi Gang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Timmy stuffs the takedown.
Timmy throws a series of punches but Zhi Gang avoids them all with ease.

Timmy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Zhi Gang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Timmy tries to avoid it but Zhi Gang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Timmy to the ground. Timmy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Timmy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Zhi Gang misses with a head kick.
Zhi Gang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Timmy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zhi Gang somewhat.
Chad Timmy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wu Zhi Gang.
Zhi Gang looks winded!

Zhi Gang moves into range and clinches up with Timmy.
Zhi Gang is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Timmy to keep the fight standing.
Zhi Gang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zhi Gang moves in looking to clinch but Timmy pushes him off.
Timmy feints a jab promting Zhi Gang to slip. Timmy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zhi Gang slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Wu Zhi Gang has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Timmy moves into range and clinches up with Zhi Gang.
Timmy tries to break free but Zhi Gang pushes him back against the cage.
Timmy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Timmy misses with a double jab.
Zhi Gang throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Timmy tries to clinch up.
Zhi Gang is looking to clinch.
Timmy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zhi Gang paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Timmy throws a nice looking combination but Zhi Gang bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Timmy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Timmy pushes Zhi Gang off and gets back to his feet.
Timmy throws a series of punches but Zhi Gang moves out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Timmy.
Timmy tries to clinch up but Zhi Gang circles away and keeps his distance.
Timmy delivers a nice body kick.
Timmy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Timmy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Timmy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Timmy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zhi Gang circles away quickly and effectively.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Zhi Gang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zhi Gang dives in for a single leg takedown but Timmy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Timmy grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Zhi Gang takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Timmy cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
