Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Anders Silver (ranked 22522 p4p, 612 weight class) and Harumichi Bouya (ranked 5521 p4p, 503 weight class). Bouya is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Victory. Anders Silver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver avoids the head kick by Bouya.
Silver throws a low kick but Bouya avoids it.
Bouya slips a jab and a cross from Silver.
Silver has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Bouya misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Silver tries to counter by clinching up but Bouya breaks away and moves out of range.
Harumichi Bouya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bouya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silver circles away quickly and effectively.

As Bouya backs away, Silver returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Bouya does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It looked like Silver was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bouya.

Bouya will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
