Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lhw throws a body punch but Hurjapuro moves out of range.
Hurjapuro feints and as Lhw raises his hands in defense, Hurjapuro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hurjapuro trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hurjapuro is working Lhw over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hurjapuro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hurjapuro makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hurjapuro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hurjapuro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lhw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lhw can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hurjapuro controls the pace.
Hurjapuro working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lhw's head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lhw can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lhw wants to sweep here but Hurjapuro controlling him for the moment.
Hurjapuro throwing strikes from guard but Lhw blocks nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hurjapuro misses with a two punch combination.

and Lhw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hurjapuro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lhw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aapeli Hurjapuro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lhw drops Hurjapuro with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lhw follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
