And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jax Gamble!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamble's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gamble duly obliges.


It looks like Numbers Adkins has been cut.

Gamble closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Adkins did well to prevent Gamble getting side control.

Adkins makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Gamble looking to break Adkins's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Adkins remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gamble will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Adkins is trying to get back to his feet but Gamble has full control of the position and if anything, Adkins has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Adkins is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Gamble manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Adkins on his heels. He'll look to pass Adkins's guard now, I'm sure.

Adkins jumps guard but Gamble stands there with Adkins around his waist. Adkins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Adkins is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Gamble takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Adkins is looking to improve his position but Gamble isn't that keen on the idea.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Numbers Adkins.
Well Gamble has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
