The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Popajic has managed to clinch.
Olsen being controlled against the cage.
Popajic is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Olsen is defending well for now.
Popajic is trying to push Olsen away but Olsen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Popajic tries to break free but Olsen pushes him back against the cage.
Olsen tries to land knees in the clinch but Popajic avoids the damage to the body.
Olsen jumps guard but Popajic turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Popajic is looking to sweep but instead, Olsen has passed into half guard.
Olsen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Popajic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Popajic has hold of Olsen's hands but Olsen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Olsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Popajic wants to control the action here but instead Olsen manages to pass to full mount!

Olsen is landing with some decent strikes but Popajic is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Olsen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Popajic's face.

Popajic is bucking up trying to escape but Olsen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Olsen lands a big shot there that rocks Popajic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Olsen unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Popajic wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Olsen celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
