These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Plunkett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Desperately To Be Positive! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plunkett fails with a takedown attempt. Plunkett throws a chopping leg kick but To Be Positive manages to avoid taking any serious damage. To Be Positive swings and misses with a hook to the body.
To Be Positive lands a two punch combo.
We've been hearing reports that Plunkett has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. To Be Positive paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. To Be Positive scores with a jab to the body. Plunkett takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Plunkett. To Be Positive keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Plunkett. To Be Positive lands a nice looking body shot.
Plunkett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has To Be Positive pinned against the cage. To Be Positive gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A countering left hand to the body from To Be Positive misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Plunkett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. To Be Positive swings for the body but Plunkett moves out of range.
Plunkett is looking to counter the offense by To Be Positive and move into the clinch. To Be Positive lands with a right hand. Plunkett has taken the fight to the clinch.
To Be Positive escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
To Be Positive cracks Plunkett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Plunkett fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Plunkett closes the distance looking to clinch and To Be Positive connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Plunkett is rocked! To Be Positive closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Plunkett! To Be Positive dives in looking to finish! Plunkett is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Desperately To Be Positive! In his post fight interview, Desperately To Be Positive gave a big smile as he said 'Do you really think Islam is a religion of peace?'.
