Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Van Bueller (ranked 4636 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happier Happiest (ranked 4855 p4p, 0 weight class). Happiest is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ken Dodd & the Diddy Men: Happiness. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Bueller shoots in looking for a takedown. Happiest tries to sprawl out of it but Van Bueller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Happiest manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Happiest throws a good cross that connects.

Happiest goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fighters circle momentarily. Happiest darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Happiest ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

A looping hook to the body misses from Happiest. Van Bueller does a little dance to reset his feet.
Van Bueller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Happiest sprawls well. Happiest wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Van Bueller gets slowly back to his feet.
Van Bueller tries for a takedown but Happiest sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Van Bueller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Happiest tries to avoid it but Van Bueller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Happiest to the ground. Happiest escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Happiest counters with a three punch combo that has Van Bueller backing up. Van Bueller nods at Happiest to acknowledge the strikes.
Happiest cracks Van Bueller with a right hand to the side of the head.

Van Bueller doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Van Bueller tries to move into range but Happiest moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Happiest listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Van Bueller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice uppercut lands for Happiest. That snapped Van Bueller's head back.
Van Bueller throws a left and a right that both miss
and Happiest counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Happiest is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Van Bueller had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Happiest connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Van Bueller tumbling to the canvas! Happiest pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Van Bueller was done - good stoppage!
