Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank White (ranked 4573 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Porter (ranked 3693 p4p, 0 weight class). White's entrance music is This is America. A fine choice. Daniel Porter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Porter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porter has a takedown stuffed. White throws a sloppy head kick and Porter moves out of range easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Porter or perhaps it was just good defense by White, which made it look bad. White tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Porter manages to circle out of the way. White tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porter closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. White quickly recovers to half guard. White keeping hold of Porter's head, controlling as best he can. White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Porter on the ground. Porter is keen to just control but White is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Porter there. White is looking for a sweep. Porter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. White avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Porter. Porter wants to work for an arm triangle but White is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Porter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so White is just riding it out for now. Porter eventually gives up the hold. White is holding on to half guard well. Porter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. White doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Porter.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Porter can do anything to dispel that myth. White wants to stand but Porter has his arm trapped. Can he finish him!? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Porter is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Porter shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Porter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that's the end of the fight! Frank White showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for White, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
