With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean O Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. O Sullivan defends it nicely.

O Sullivan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
O Sullivan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
O Sullivan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and O Sullivan counters with a right hand to the body.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Diaz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Diaz duly obliges.
O Sullivan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.
Diaz closes the distance and clinches up with O Sullivan, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes O Sullivan against the cage but O Sullivan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Sullivan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz misses with a double jab
and O Sullivan counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Diaz to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by O Sullivan!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sean O Sullivan!
A very excited looking Sean O Sullivan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Eddie Diaz stepped up to the mic, saying 'it was a good fight were gonna watch the tape and see what we could have done better and come out better and stronger next time.'.
