Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geogia Forman (ranked 5108 p4p, 513 weight class) and Dalton Kendle (ranked 4474 p4p, 479 weight class). Geogia Forman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dalton Kendle! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Kendle enables Forman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kendle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Forman controlling from the top position. Forman is pushing down on Kendle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kendle is fighting to maintain full guard but Forman has managed to sneak the leg through. Kendle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Forman is working away from the top position though. Kendle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kendle is looking for a sweep. Forman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kendle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Forman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forman prevents Kendle from improving his position. Forman is working for a kimura but Kendle is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Still in half guard, Forman seems content to control. Forman prevents Kendle from standing back up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Forman performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Forman wants to clinch. Forman shoots in but no luck this time. Forman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kendle defends it nicely. Kendle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Forman's head backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kendle lands with a nice combination. Forman backs away looking to recover. Kendle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Kendle. Those never looked like landing. Forman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kendle sprawls well. Kendle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Forman gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geogia Forman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kendle fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Forman. Kendle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dalton Kendle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Forman slips a jab and a cross from Kendle.
Forman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Forman shoots in looking for a takedown but Kendle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Forman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A punch combination from Kendle misses. Sloppy strikes from Kendle. Those never looked like landing. Kendle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kendle looks winded! Kendle throws a series of punches but Forman avoids them all with ease. Forman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kendle sprawls and moves away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kendle throws a right and a left that Forman avoids nicely. Kendle lands with a nice combination. Forman backs away looking to recover. Kendle misses with a two punch combination.
Forman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kendle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kendle looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Forman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Forman wants it to stay on the feet. No joy there for Kendle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Forman throws a right hand that Kendle ducks under and follows up with a left that Kendle also avoids with ease. Kendle throws out a leg kick but Forman moves out of range and Kendle only half commits. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dalton Kendle dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Forman tries to clinch but Kendle is having none of it. Kendle feints a jab promting Forman to slip. Kendle then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Forman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Kendle throws a wild body kick that Forman sees coming a mile off. Forman tries to clinch up. Kendle has a takedown stuffed. Kendle throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kendle throws a right and a left that Forman avoids nicely. Kendle tries to sprawl but Forman drives through with a takedown into half guard. Forman slows the pace down in half guard. Forman wants to stand up but Kendle has a hold of him and won't allow it. Kendle is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kendle is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Forman scores with a couple of nice shots. Forman slows the pace down in half guard. Kendle is trying to get back to full guard. Forman wants to stand but Kendle has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Kendle has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Forman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Forman prevents Kendle from standing back up.
Kendle felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Forman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Forman is looking to take a break and control but Kendle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kendle misses with a few strikes there.
Forman is looking for a counter combo. Kendle swats away the attempt to clinch by Forman. Forman dodges the punch combination from Kendle.
Dalton Kendle seems to be getting the better of the standup. Forman has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Forman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Forman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Forman wants to get up but he can't break Kendle's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Forman's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Forman passes Kendle's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Forman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Forman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kendle for as long as he can get away with.

Geogia Forman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Forman tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Forman wants to take a breather but Kendle is having none of it. Forman lands strikes from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Forman in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kendle is looking to score with low kicks. Forman tries to close the distance and clinch but Kendle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Forman checks a leg kick. Kendle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kendle loads up on a big right hand but Forman slips the punch. Forman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Forman lands in his opponent's guard. Forman pushing down on Kendle's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kendle is looking to control Forman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kendle avoid being mounted? Forman tries to stand and escape but Kendle is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forman trying to control the action but Kendle is working from the bottom. Kendle takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Forman performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Forman decides to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kendle misses with a few strikes there.

Forman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Forman lands a couple of elbows. Forman works over Kendle with some ground and pound from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forman trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kendle's guard. Forman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Forman chips away with some ground and pound. Kendle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Forman controls the pace. Forman scoring with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Forman sitting in guard here, content to control. Kendle looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Forman passes into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Geogia Forman. I think Forman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
