Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jed Haney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludvig Dzhamshan! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dzhamshan looks to clinch letting Haney counter with a right hand. Dzhamshan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Haney manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dzhamshan wants to control from the top but Haney keeps moving. Dzhamshan preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haney is trying to control the position but Dzhamshan postures up. Dzhamshan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Haney is keeping the position for now. Haney wants to sweep here but Dzhamshan controlling him for the moment. Haney working for a triangle but Dzhamshan defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dzhamshan preventing the sweep. Haney escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dzhamshan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dzhamshan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Haney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dzhamshan trying to control but Haney is working from the bottom. Dzhamshan drops back looking for a leg! Haney is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Haney manages to kick Dzhamshan off! Dzhamshan jumps back into Haney's guard. Dzhamshan postures up.

Dzhamshan wants to pass the guard but Haney is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haney had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dzhamshan defends it easily. Haney can't keep his opponent in guard - Dzhamshan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Haney tries to get to full guard but Dzhamshan has control of the leg. Dzhamshan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Haney is defending against the submission attempts here by Dzhamshan.
Dzhamshan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Haney is pressing down on Dzhamshan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dzhamshan wants to pass the guard but Haney is keeping the position. Haney is trying to keep Dzhamshan in close.
Dzhamshan wants to control from the top but Haney keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dzhamshan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dzhamshan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Haney keeping moving, preventing Dzhamshan from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Dzhamshan ducks under a wild hook from Haney. Dzhamshan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Haney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dzhamshan controls Haney momentarily but Haney frees himself. Dzhamshan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haney can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Haney keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dzhamshan's head. Haney content to stall in guard here. Dzhamshan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Haney controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Haney seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dzhamshan for as long as he can get away with.

Haney postures up and lands a big shot to Dzhamshan's brow. Dzhamshan being controlled here, momentarily. Haney has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Haney is working Dzhamshan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Haney lands a couple of digs. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Haney clinches up with Dzhamshan and pushes him back against the cage. Dzhamshan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Haney clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Haney trying to control the action but Dzhamshan just sinks the hooks in. Dzhamshan is persistently looking for the submission but Haney is defending it well.
Dzhamshan has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Haney wants to control his opponent's hands but Dzhamshan gets his hands free.
And that's the end of the fight! Jed Haney showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dzhamshan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
