Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Smith (ranked 7129 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuomas Jukola (ranked 5259 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with Metallica - Dyers Eve blaring out of the sound system. Jimmy Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jukola takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jukola as he jumps to the side.
Smith misses with a low kick.
Jukola fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Smith wants to clinch.
Jukola misses the shot to the body.
Jukola takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jukola throws a body shot but no joy.
Jukola misses with a wild body shot.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Smith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A shot to the body from Jukola misses
and Smith counters with a three punch combo that has Jukola backing up. Jukola nods at Smith to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jukola dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith throws out a leg kick but Jukola moves out of range and Smith only half commits.
Jukola with a nice cross.
Jukola scores with a hook.
It looks like Jimmy Smith has been cut.
Jukola tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Jukola.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jukola scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Jukola sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jukola throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jukola swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jukola fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Jukola ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Smith is looking to counter the offense by Jukola and move into the clinch.
Jukola lands a glancing blow to the side of Smith's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith tries to clinch up but Jukola circles away and keeps his distance.
Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith misses with a wild combination.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Smith looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jukola lands a right hand from hell, dropping Smith. Jukola pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tuomas Jukola!
