Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Il Sung! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earl Ringo! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Il Sung. Beautiful body shot. Nice cross by Il Sung. Ringo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Il Sung working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ringo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ringo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Il Sung trying to control the position.

Ringo won't allow Il Sung to sweep him here. Ringo scoring with some ground and pound. Ringo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ringo wants to control from the top but Il Sung keeps moving. Ringo stands and throws Il Sung's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ringo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Il Sung, who protects the arm well. Ringo is looking to take a break and control but Il Sung is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Il Sung is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Il Sung is being controlled here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ringo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Il Sung rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ringo's guard! Nice work there by Il Sung! Ringo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Il Sung gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Il Sung postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Earl Ringo will probably get the nod. That's time! Il Sung's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
