Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Wynn (ranked 5270 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Ziranov (ranked 4618 p4p, 0 weight class). Ziranov has chosen Power wolf - We drink your blood as his entrance music. Xander Ziranov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edwin Wynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Xander Ziranov! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wynn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ziranov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wynn somewhat. Ziranov rushes Wynn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ziranov tries to land knees in the clinch but Wynn avoids the damage to the body. Wynn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ziranov has Wynn pressed against the cage, preventing Wynn from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A frustrated look appears on Wynn's face as he tries to break the clinch. Wynn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ziranov has him pressed against the cage. Wynn avoiding damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wynn lands a shot to the body.

Ziranov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ziranov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ziranov wants to control but Wynn is keeping him busy. Wynn is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ziranov wants to control but Wynn is keeping him busy. Edwin Wynn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Who's going to make the next move? Ziranov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wynn has escaped the position, nice work there. Wynn regains half guard. Wynn trying to hold on to Ziranov's head to control him but Ziranov postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ziranov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wynn pulls Ziranov in close to his closed guard and prevents Ziranov from doing any damage or advancing position. Wynn wants to stand up but Ziranov is controlling him. Ziranov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Wynn lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Wynn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Ziranov is breathing heavily. Wynn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ziranov taking some punishment here, with Wynn in his half guard. Ziranov is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wynn is one step ahead and moves to full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wynn lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ziranov is rocked! Ziranov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ziranov is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wynn with a couple of short strikes. Ziranov is still in real trouble! Can Wynn finish him? Wynn postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ziranov in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ziranov to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
