Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skyler lands a jab to Smith's midsection.
A left and a right from Skyler both land. Nice combination.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Skyler throws out the jab.
Smith tries to counter by clinching up but Skyler breaks away and moves out of range.
Skyler falls off balance throwing a combination
so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Skyler is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Smith dives into side control.
Smith has an Americana. Skyler didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Smith!
