The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Saint Pierre has been cut.
A big left from Morientes misses.
Pierre darts in and clinches Morientes up against the cage.
Pierre lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Pierre not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pierre passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Morientes!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pierre cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pierre with shots to the head and body - Morientes looks very uncomfortable down there.
Pierre content just to control the position here.
Morientes is in a horrible position here. Pierre smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Morientes is rocked!

Pierre lands a big elbow - Morientes is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Morientes is forced to tap out!
