Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darin Smith (ranked 5951 p4p, 524 weight class) and Bart Grominsky (ranked 24341 p4p, 618 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lalala- Y2K ft. bbno$. The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to clinch there but Grominsky circles away.
Grominsky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Grominsky lands a decent elbow from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grominsky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Smith is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Grominsky landing strikes.
Grominsky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grominsky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Grominsky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grominsky goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Smith has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Grominsky but great work by Smith.

Grominsky is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Smith is aware though and is defending well.
Grominsky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smith manages to get himself to full guard.
Smith wants to stand but Grominsky is controlling the position.
Grominsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Grominsky drops back, looking for a kneebar! Smith looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Smith looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Smith!
Grominsky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Smith wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Grominsky is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Smith off and has taken his back!

Grominsky has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Smith is in real trouble here. Grominsky gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Smith is tapping out! Grominsky wins by rear naked choke!

A very excited looking Bart Grominsky made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Darin Smith was interviewed post fight and said 'Lame.'.
