Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charieos Bizihwaeile (ranked 6558 p4p, 592 weight class) and Pasha Pedikov (ranked 6895 p4p, 611 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pedikov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bizihwaeile's face.
Pedikov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Bizihwaeile looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on Bizihwaeile's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Pedikov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bizihwaeile has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pedikov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Bizihwaeile dives in for a single leg takedown but Pedikov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charieos Bizihwaeile.
