Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Champ Lesnar (ranked 3515 p4p, 354 weight class) and Vladimir Magosharipov (ranked 3990 p4p, 391 weight class). Magosharipov has chosen Jalandhar as his entrance music. Lesnar is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for Champ Lesnar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magosharipov has Lesnar up against the cage in a clinch.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Magosharipov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar shoots in looking for a takedown. Magosharipov tries to sprawl out of it but Lesnar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magosharipov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lesnar enables Magosharipov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lesnar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Magosharipov stays in close to Lesnar's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magosharipov pushes Lesnar up against the cage in a clinch.
Magosharipov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Magosharipov manages to end up in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Magosharipov controls the position from side control.
Magosharipov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lesnar is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Magosharipov yanks on the arm and Lesnar is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Magosharipov.
