Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rubson Racker (ranked 4546 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Ali (ranked 23469 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rubson Racker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Ali! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ali gets in close and instigates a clinch. Racker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Racker lands an elbow inside that Ali shrugs off. Racker tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ali avoids it. Racker is trying to break the clinch but Ali has him pressed against the cage. Racker wants to get back to striking at distance but Ali won't allow it.
Ali is looking for a takedown. Racker creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Racker is trying to break the clinch but Ali is controlling him. Racker being controlled against the cage. Ali on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ali tries to pull guard but Racker won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Racker comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Ali wants to take the fight to the mat but Racker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Rubson Racker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Ali. A nice right hand lands inside from Racker. The referee calls for Ali to work.
Ali is trying to trip Racker. He has hold of a leg but Racker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ali persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Ali is standing up over Racker. Racker looks to escape but Ali dives into side control.
Racker is letting Ali control him for a moment. Racker tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Racker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ali stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Racker throws a combination that misses and Ali decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Racker's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ali pushes down on Racker's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ali with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ali passes the guard and advances to mount! Ali controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali lands a heavy elbow. Ali takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ali working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Racker looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Ali! Submission of the night perhaps?
