O Rangers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Helicopter- Bloc Party. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony O Rangers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Macho Randy!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Rangers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Randy defends it nicely.
Randy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Randy scoring well with a low kick there.
Horrible takedown attempt by O Rangers or perhaps it was just good defense by Randy, which made it look bad.
Randy throws out a counter right but O Rangers avoids it with no problem.
Macho Randy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Randy thuds a left hand into O Rangers's body.
O Rangers takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
O Rangers fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony O Rangers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Rangers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

O Rangers moves into the clinch.

O Rangers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

O Rangers has managed to clinch.
Randy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of O Rangers backwards.
O Rangers has been working on his balance at Death Valley Training Facility, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Randy.

Randy misses with a punch to the body.
O Rangers lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

O Rangers breaks the clinch.
Randy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Randy jabs at O Rangers's body.
Randy cracks O Rangers with a right hand to the side of the head.
Randy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
O Rangers swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Randy counters with a body kick that stops O Rangers in his tracks momentarily.

Randy throws a wild body kick that O Rangers sees coming a mile off.
O Rangers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Randy misses with a body shot.
O Rangers takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Randy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as O Rangers is landing a low percentage of strikes.
O Rangers shoots in for a takedown but Randy shows good takedown defense.
O Rangers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
O Rangers drops his hands momentarily and Randy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Randy scores with a jab to the body.
Randy fakes the leg kick and cracks O Rangers in the body.

Randy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Randy is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
O Rangers throws a shot from downtown. Randy moves away and avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Randy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

O Rangers rushes Randy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
O Rangers swings wildly with an uppercut but Randy uses good head movement to avoid it.
O Rangers can't break the clinch.
O Rangers can't get the takedown.
Randy struggles to land a body shot inside as O Rangers controls his hands.
Randy trying to control the position but instead, O Rangers has worked for underhooks and has pushed Randy into the cage.
Randy prevents a takedown attempt there.

O Rangers lands a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Rangers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
O Rangers working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

O Rangers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Randy keeping full guard, as O Rangers tries to pass.
O Rangers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
O Rangers is fighting to break Randy's control of his arms but Randy is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Randy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as O Rangers controls the pace.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
O Rangers postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
O Rangers throws out a loose jab but Randy uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Randy lands an impressive looking overhand right. O Rangers doesn't seem phased though.

O Rangers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Randy is controlling O Rangers's trapped leg to prevent O Rangers from advancing to side control.
O Rangers controlling the action here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
O Rangers thows a huge punch but Randy dodges it nicely.
O Rangers is trying to control the action in half guard but Randy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Rangers is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Randy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
O Rangers wants to pass the guard but Randy is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Macho Randy dominated that round.

Randy clinches with his opponent.
A quick uppercut on the inside from O Rangers.
O Rangers scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A nice left hand lands by Randy.

O Rangers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
O Rangers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randy keeps working.
O Rangers scores with a couple of short elbows.
O Rangers trying to control the action but Randy is working from the bottom.
Randy parries the strikes from O Rangers easily there. O Rangers is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Randy to escape.
Randy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
O Rangers has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Randy!

O Rangers fails to advance to Randy's back.
Randy is squirming around, avoiding O Rangers's attempts to control the action.

O Rangers moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Randy has worked his arm free - good work by Randy!
O Rangers tries to stand but Randy is controlling his head.
O Rangers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randy keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Randy gets back to half guard.
O Rangers is looking to advance position but Randy won't allow it.
O Rangers throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
O Rangers is trying to control. Randy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

O Rangers is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
O Rangers wants to stand up but Randy has a hold of him and won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

O Rangers is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Randy sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Macho Randy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
O Rangers shoots in looking for a takedown but Randy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing O Rangers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Randy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck O Rangers on the side of the head.
O Rangers fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Randy connects with a crisp jab.

O Rangers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Randy, pushing him back against the cage.
O Rangers is working for takedown but Randy is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony O Rangers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
O Rangers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Randy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

O Rangers gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Randy manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
O Rangers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Randy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
O Rangers closes the distance but Randy moves to the side
and Randy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

O Rangers fails with a takedown attempt.
Randy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by O Rangers.
O Rangers misses with a series of wild punches.
O Rangers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Randy avoids it really well and circles away.
Randy lands a right hook to the body.
Donk. Randy catches O Rangers right on the button with a cross.

Randy closes the distance and clinches.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Macho Randy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Randy works O Rangers's body with a nice hook.
Randy lands with a hook. O Rangers tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
O Rangers takes one to the chin there.

Randy throws a nice inside leg kick.

O Rangers dives in and scores a takedown into Randy's guard.
Randy keeping moving, preventing O Rangers from controlling successfully.
Randy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

O Rangers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and O Rangers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
O Rangers wants to control from the top but Randy keeps moving.
Randy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Randy is pulling down on O Rangers's head. It's preventing any offense from O Rangers, at least for the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

O Rangers shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than O Rangers was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
O Rangers tries to move to mount but Randy blocks the move with his legs.

O Rangers is trying to get an arm triangle but Randy is defending well.
Randy managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by O Rangers.
O Rangers moves into full mount!
Randy is squirming around, avoiding O Rangers's attempts to control the action.
Tony O Rangers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Randy avoids a series of strikes thrown by O Rangers.

O Rangers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Randy is now in O Rangers's guard. A big mistake from O Rangers there, giving up the dominant position!
Randy advances to half guard.

O Rangers looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Randy sitting and controlling from the half guard.
O Rangers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Randy decides to stand up.
O Rangers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Randy pinned against the cage. Randy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Randy tests O Rangers's chin there with a solid looking shot.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Macho Randy.
I've got Randy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
