PBP Commentary

Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Super Freak. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams stuns Goliath with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Williams goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like David Goliath has been cut.
Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.
Goliath has a takedown stuffed.
Williams throws a big counter combination but Goliath scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Goliath gets a takedown into half guard.
Williams is trying to stand back up but Goliath is controlling him
Goliath not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Goliath throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Goliath has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Goliath wants to take a breather but Williams is having none of it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Goliath connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple.

Williams pushes Goliath off looking to stand but Goliath dives back in and keeps control.

Williams is trying to stand back up but Goliath is controlling him
Goliath looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Goliath working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Williams's thigh. Williams counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Goliath seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Goliath is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goliath pushes down on Williams's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Williams pushes Goliath off looking to stand but Goliath dives back in and keeps control.
Goliath seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Williams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Williams is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Goliath scores with a couple of nice shots.
Goliath takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Goliath is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Williams pushes Goliath off but Goliath dives into side control.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Goliath cracks Williams with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Goliath scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Williams to see if he's OK.
Goliath in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Goliath advances nicely into full mount.

Goliath is landing with some decent strikes but Williams is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Juice Williams has been cut.
Goliath lands a big elbow - Williams is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Williams is forced to tap out!
