Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sambulo Yeboah (ranked 217 p4p, 28 weight class) and DeShawn Jackson (ranked 378 p4p, 49 weight class). Yeboah comes to the cage accompanied by Lionel Richie - All Night Long. Jackson has chosen Green Card as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, DeShawn Jackson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeboah connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Yeboah rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Yeboah misses with a punch on the inside.
Yeboah blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Yeboah scores with a shoulder strike.
Yeboah is leaning against Jackson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Jackson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Yeboah scores with a hook to the body.
Jackson throws a punch but it's blocked by Yeboah.

Yeboah manages to pull guard.
Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Yeboah is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.
Yeboah has his hands on Jackson's head, controlling the position.

Yeboah is looking for a triangle but Jackson pushes his legs off easily.
Jackson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yeboah is keeping the position for now.
Yeboah utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jackson throws a big right hand that misses.
We've been hearing good reports from Yeboah's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Jackson won't allow Yeboah to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yeboah is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yeboah is on top in guard.

Yeboah looking to improve position, pressing down on Jackson's thigh with his hand. Jackson seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Yeboah paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Yeboah's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Jackson picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
