The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill moves into range and connects with a jab.

Hill tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from El Toro Jr enables Hill to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. El Toro Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hill drops back looking for a leg! El Toro Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and El Toro Jr manages to kick Hill off! Hill jumps back into El Toro Jr's guard.

El Toro Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
