Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderson Silva (ranked 7119 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Kopp (ranked 4547 p4p, 475 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopp looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Silva is trying to stand back up but Kopp is controlling him
Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kopp pulls his head out easily.
Silva works his way to full guard. Good work.
Silva is looking for a triangle but Kopp pushes his legs off easily.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Kopp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kopp swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kopp has Silva pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kopp pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Silva tumbling to the mat - Kopp dives into Silva's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A little jabbing left from Kopp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Kopp moves out of range easily.
Silva throws a push kick but Kopp slaps the foot to one side.
Kopp is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kopp tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kopp to the ground. Kopp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Kopp.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kopp closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Kopp getting side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
