Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reilly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Frontline-Pillar. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Reilly! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt. Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Reilly sitting in guard here, content to control. Reilly drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Reilly off! Reilly jumps back into Gracie's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
Reilly keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Reilly is looking for a triangle but Gracie pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Reilly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Reilly looks gassed! Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Reilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reilly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Reilly seems keen to control Gracie's posture. Gracie trying to control but Reilly is working from the bottom. Gracie is really struggling to control Reilly but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reilly paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reilly scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Reilly tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reilly has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gracie sneaks back into half guard. Reilly prevents Gracie from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gracie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Reilly pulls his head out easily. Reilly looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Reilly wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position. Reilly passes the guard and advances to mount! Reilly has hold of Gracie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gracie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Reilly with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reilly controlling the pace for now. Reilly is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gracie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Reilly wants to finish this one by submission but Gracie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Reilly. Reilly lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Reilly working Gracie over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Reilly dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gracie goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Reilly counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reilly's corner is telling him to maintain position. Reilly works over Gracie with some ground and pound from guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Reilly from controlling successfully. Reilly landing with the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Reilly's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Reilly is stalling in the full guard. Reilly drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reilly jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is trying to keep Reilly in close.
Reilly throwing strikes but missing. Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reilly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Reilly sitting in guard here, content to control. Reilly scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Reilly is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Reilly controlling from the top position. Reilly makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Reilly has gone for a leg lock! Gracie slips out almost immediately though and dives into Reilly's guard. Gracie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Reilly has his feet on Gracie's thighs here. He's pushed Gracie off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gracie screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
