Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Curtis Tate Jr (ranked 22442 p4p, 514 weight class) and Ricky Tact (ranked 24053 p4p, 494 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Tate Jr! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Tact ! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tact wants to clinch. Tate Jr forces Tact back against the ropes and clinches. Tate Jr letting Tact take a breather here. Tate Jr lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Tate Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tact takes the fight into the clinch. Tact should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Tate Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight stays on the outside here - Tact looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tact takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Ricky Tact has been cut. Tate Jr throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Tact closes the distance but Tate Jr moves to the side and before Tact can reset, Tate Jr rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Tact is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
Tact is rocked! Tact has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tact throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tate Jr blocks it with crossed arms. The referee is keeping an eye on Tate Jr - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tact takes a knee to the side of the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tate Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tact closes the distance and clinches. Tate Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tact tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Tate Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tate Jr has managed to clinch.
Tate Jr breaks from the clinch.
Tate Jr instigates a clinch. Tact wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Tact trying to stall but Tate Jr improves his position.
Tate Jr breaks from the clinch.
Tate Jr closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Tact crashing to the mat! Tact uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue! Tact is still on wobbly legs! Can Tate Jr finish him? Tact throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tact is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Tate Jr just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Tact has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Curtis Tate Jr! Curtis Tate Jr retains his heavyweight title!
